#ASDShineBright Rogers Park Elementary School Art Teacher Scott McDonald worked with an artist in residence, Graham Dane, to co-create the new mural hanging outside the school's gymnasium.
Dane and students third through sixth grade painted a 12'x16' mural. Students also painted 16 4x’4’ paintings that are on display temporarily inside the school.
Last week, following the Rogers Park Jog-a-thon, the school formally presented the mural to their community. Rogers Park Elementary - PTA, community members, staff, and students gathered as the mural was hung.
