Seldovians, the community really needs your help! The city team that helps the Alaska Marine Highway System ferries tie up to the dock does not have enough people. Without a steady team of 3 linehandlers and 1 to 2 backup staff, Seldovia’s ferry service may be compromised. For the Trusty Tusty, we need 3 linehandlers on the team. For the Kennicott we need 4. Please look at the AMHS sailing calendar and see if you could help the community with this very important service over the next few months The job description for the linehandler position is on the city's website, www.cityofseldovia.com. You will also see that we need a ferry ticketing agent too.
