Senator Dan Sullivan, who represents Alaska in the U.S. Senate, posted several updates on his official X account between November 11 and November 12, 2025. His posts covered developments in the Alaska LNG project, Veterans Day observances, and recent congressional action to end a government shutdown.

On November 11, Sullivan shared news about a partnership for the Alaska LNG project: "Glenfarne announced today that it’s teaming up with Baker Hughes to provide equipment and investment for Alaska LNG, another major milestone driving this project forward. This is momentum—real investment, real equipment orders, and real partners stepping forward. This project https://t.co/2pv9xgspdv" (posted November 11, 2025). The Alaska LNG project has been under discussion for years as a significant energy infrastructure effort aimed at exporting liquefied natural gas from Alaska's North Slope.

Later that day, Sullivan recognized military service members in his state: "Veterans Day is sacred in Alaska, the state with more veterans per capita than any other. Today, we thank the brave men and women who’ve answered the call to serve, as well as their family members, who serve in their own way too. Happy Veterans Day! https://t.co/6cJhoKT6PZ" (posted November 11, 2025). According to federal data cited by various sources such as the U.S. Census Bureau and Department of Veterans Affairs, Alaska consistently ranks highest among states for veterans per capita.

On November 12, Senator Sullivan addressed recent legislative efforts regarding a government shutdown: "The far left & Sen. Schumer wanted to hurt Americans by keeping the government shuttered, but we did our job. A bipartisan group of senators broke the Schumer Shutdown. Now it’s up to the House to get this bill to the President’s desk so we can finally reopen the government." (posted November 12, 2025). Government shutdowns occur when Congress fails to pass appropriations bills or continuing resolutions funding federal agencies; reopening requires both chambers of Congress to approve legislation before it goes to the President.

Senator Dan Sullivan has served as one of Alaska's two U.S. Senators since first being elected in 2014.
