Sen. Dan Sullivan, U.S. Senator representing Alaska, addressed a range of issues in a series of posts on his Twitter account between October 7 and October 9, 2025.

On October 7, 2025, Sullivan reflected on the anniversary of the Hamas attack in Israel, stating, "Two years ago, on October 7, Israel suffered the most devastating terrorist attack in its history, a horrendous massacre carried out by Hamas terrorists that took the lives of 1,200 innocent men, women and children, including a number of Americans. Today, 40 hostages remain in".

The following day, October 8, 2025, Sullivan announced legislative progress regarding Alaska Native artisans. He wrote, " Great news! My ARTIST Act unanimously passed the Senate today. We’re working w/ the House to get this bill to @POTUS so we can protect Alaska Native artisans’ centuries-old traditional practices and their right to create & sell walrus ivory handicrafts." The ARTIST Act aims to safeguard the rights of Alaska Native artisans, particularly in the creation and sale of traditional walrus ivory handicrafts.

On October 9, 2025, Sullivan addressed an ongoing weather emergency in western Alaska. He posted, "My team and I are tracking the storm that has forced the evacuation of communities in western Alaska, including Kotzebue. According to the National Weather Service, flood waters were expected to reach their maximum height on Wednesday, but the agency’s flood warning will remain". The National Weather Service had issued warnings as floodwaters threatened communities in the region.

Sen. Dan Sullivan has previously focused on issues affecting both national security and the rights of indigenous communities in Alaska. The passage of the ARTIST Act follows ongoing debates about the regulation of ivory products and the preservation of indigenous traditions.
