Chugiak High School standout Fischer Sims’ college team lost in NCAA Division II baseball game on Saturday, March 29

On Saturday, March 29, former Chugiak High School standout Fischer Sims’ current college team, the Colorado Mines Orediggers, lost 14-9 in their NCAA Division II baseball game against the Colorado Mesa Mavericks.

The game took place at Jim Darden Field. This was their fourth matchup against the Mavericks this season.

The Orediggers’ next game is scheduled for Friday, April 4 at 3 p.m. at Rawlings Field against CSU Pueblo ThunderWolves.
