On Sunday, Feb. 2, former Chugiak High School standout Fischer Sims’ college team won in an NCAA Division II baseball game

On Sunday, Feb. 2, former Chugiak High School standout Fischer Sims’ current college team, the Colorado Mines Orediggers, won 11-5 in their NCAA Division II baseball game against the Southwestern Oklahoma State Bulldogs.

The game took place at SWOSU Athletic Complex. This was their fourth matchup against the Bulldogs this season.

The Orediggers’ next game is scheduled for Thursday, Feb. 6 at 12:10 p.m. at CSUSM Baseball Field against Cal State San Marcos Cougars.
