Saturday, Feb. 1: South Anchorage High School standout Emily McCutcheon’s college team loses to Vanguard Lions

On Saturday, Feb. 1, former South Anchorage High School standout Emily McCutcheon’s current college team, the Western Washington Vikings, lost 8-0 in their NCAA Division II softball game against the Vanguard Lions.

The game took place at OC Great Park. This was their first matchup against the Lions this season.

The Vikings’ next game is scheduled for Sunday, Feb. 2 at 8:30 a.m. at OC Great Park against Cal State San Bernardino Coyotes.
