77.6% of Kenai Peninsula Borough residents old enough to vote in 2021

Of the 58,711 citizens living in Kenai Peninsula Borough in 2021, 77.6% were old enough to vote, equating to 45,537 individuals, according to U.S. Census Bureau data obtained on Oct. 26.

Further breakdown reveals that of the voting-eligible population, 23,970 were male, constituting 52.6%, and 21,567 were female, making up 47.4%.

The percentage of citizens old enough to vote in Kenai Peninsula Borough during 2021 was higher than the state average, which stands at 75.2%.
