Today's #ASDShineBright is a Youth Art Month highlight. Bartlett High School Senior Mayah Misi designed a logo that will be used to commemorate the school's 50th Anniversary Celebrations. Congratulations!
About the artist: Mayah, originally from Hawaii and California, spent four years of high school at Bartlett High School - Home of the Golden Bears. She was the Volleyball Captain and was selected for the first Team All Cook Inlet Conference. She was also the Basketball Manager.
Mayah wants to be either a Pediatrician, Athletic Trainer, or Therapist after high school. Her favorite subjects are math and history, and her favorite teacher is Mr. Chance Matsuoka.
Fun fact! Mayah played the flute in middle school and was always first chair.
Congratulations to a well-rounded artist on winning the design contest. We hope you have the best fourth quarter and wish you all the best in your future endeavors. -Team ASD
