Friendly reminder that we know it’s cold and we totally understand waiting in the car with your kid for the bus. However, we have seen quite a few vehicles parked illegally while waiting. According to AMC 9.30.030B3 please remember not to park your vehicle:
In front of a public or private driveway. Within 20 feet from the point of tangent of curb return at any intersection, including a stop sign. This can cause dangerous situations with cars impeding the flow of traffic. Within 20 feet of a marked crosswalk not located within a designated school zone. At any place where official signs prohibit parking, in front of a fire hydrant, immediately adjacent to a yellow curb, or within ten feet of a curbside mailbox.
Help us keep everyone safe this winter and keep traffic flowing smoothly!
