Good afternoon! Lots of information here, let us know if you have any questions by commenting below or sending us a private message.
Although we are headed into a short month, February is jam-packed with events that give our entire ASD community opportunities to connect and collaborate.
To start, the Teaching and Learning Department will host a curriculum outreach event Thursday, Feb. 2, at the ASD Education Center from 8am-7pm. New math curriculum materials for Algebra I, Geometry, and Algebra II will be on display for you to review. The team will also have information and materials available regarding the new K-3 reading curriculum options being considered. This event is meant for families to drop in at your convenience to browse the books, submit written feedback, and speak with District staff. Following Thursday’s event, we invite you back to the EdCenter Saturday, Feb. 4 for the Alternate Schools & Programs Expo. You can RSVP and invite your neighbors here: https://fb.me/e/2FsUo86VZ
Spring Lottery 2023: We have rescheduled the start of our Lottery application process to Feb. 15th. We've also extended the application window to April 6th. More information and dates available here: asdk12.org/lottery
Be sure to follow us on social media as we celebrate Black History Month, school counselors, SRO’s, and the School Board in February.
But wait… there’s more. Are you or someone you know interested in working for ASD? Join us for a Career Fair Feb. 22 at the EdCenter. Visit asdk12.org/workforasd to browse opportunities.
Please let us know if you have any questions about upcoming events. Thank you for staying connected to your school district. We hope to see you!
