Anchorage Police Department School Resource Officers (SRO), Sgt. Chris Simmons, Ofc. Jon Gallen, and Ofc. Matthew Ivacic took time on Wednesday, Nov. 16, 2022 to do a pizza with a cop event at Wendler Middle School.
Students had the opportunity to have pizza and talk with school resource officers about anything and everything. According to SGT. Chris Simmons, the lunch gave students and officers the opportunity to get to know each other and allowed students the chance to ask any questions they wanted.
