Tonight’s campus closure town hall at Birchwood ABC Elementary is NOT cancelled.
We understand if you cannot attend due to weather and road conditions. We encourage you to participate in the virtual town halls. Dates and times are listed below for planning. It will be hosted on the ZOOM platform. The link will be sent out as it gets closer to the virtual event.
If you are planning on attending tonight, here are the details:
Location: Birchwood ABC Gym Doors open at 5:30pm There will be a brief FY24 Budget Solutions presentation starting at 6pm. The moderator will then open it up to questions/feedback from the community. If you want to provide feedback/ask questions, you will need to sign-up at the registration table as you enter the school. No names will be taken prior. It must be on-site starting @5:30pm. Format is the same as a school board meeting. When your name is called, walk to the front of the room to the microphone to speak. You will have three minutes. Each town hall is specific to the individual school recommended for closure. All comments and/or questions should be relevant to that school community. ASL support and translator support will be provided on-site
Reminder, you can watch via live stream on our website here: https://bit.ly/3Plqx8O and social media platforms (YouTube, Facebook, and Twitter). The live stream will operate according to school board meeting protocols. No comments or questions will be taken. It’s only for viewing and/or listening.

Reminder, a final campus closure decision won’t be finalized by the school board until December.
