This week the Gifted Mentorship Program held its first student orientation with 33 students in attendance. Participants learned the ropes of the program and how to prepare for their mentorship placements. The program gives motivated, mature high school students an idea of what it is like to work in a field of their interest by being teamed with a professional who acts as their mentor.
There is still time to apply! The deadline to apply is September 9. Final orientation is on September 21.
