Red Flag Warning in place for the Kenai Peninsula. That means don't ignite a fire during these warnings; it's not worth the risk. The burn permits are still suspended. Temperatures are forecasted in the 60s and 70s and rising into the 70s over the weekend. Wind gusts are forecasted for many areas over the KPB. If ignited, wildfires have the potential to rapidly grow due to these winds.
