The youth 'Girls Build-Up' summer training leadership team is now accepting applications and making selections. You/your student still have time to apply for this free course!
ASD Career & Technical Education partners with Alaska Works Partnership Inc. to host summer intensives focused on a variety of trades. This is the first ever Girls Build-Up. Students will learn how to safely handle a variety of power tools, explore electrical theory, and complete hands on projects.
These courses are completely free and give introductory knowledge and experience that can lead you to some great career/apprenticeship opportunities. The lifelong skills learned in theses courses can lead to a high paying job.
