Both lanes of the Sterling Highway are now open.

One lane of traffic is now open. Please drive with caution as crews are still on scene.

02/22/22 11:50AM Highway Closure Alert: Vehicle accident located near Sterling Highway milepost 85.5 near the Sterling Transfer Facility. The highway is temporarily closed. Please avoid the area and yield to response vehicles. Ground and air support will be in the area for several hours. Updates will be provided here and at https://511.alaska.gov/
