Silver Springs ranked ninth in Alaska for resident earnings in 2018

Silver Springs ranked ninth among cities in Alaska by annual earnings per resident, according to data obtained from the U.S. Census Bureau.

The median income of Silver Springs residents was $48,125 per year, adjusted for inflation. It had 40 households with a population of 120.

The city with the highest median resident income in the state was Evansville with $83,125 per year after adjusting for inflation – $35,000 more than Silver Springs. It had 10 households with a population of 11.

The city with the lowest median resident income in the state was Alcan Border with $2,499 per year after adjusting for inflation – $45,626 less than Silver Springs. It had 23 households with a population of 177.
