Of the 2,829 people living in Cordova city in 2019, 44.8 percent (1,266) were women and 55.2 percent (1,563) were men, according to U.S. Census Bureau data obtained by the SC Alaska News.

Males 18 and over outnumbered females in the same age group by a ratio of 983-to-919. In the 65 and over age range, there were 114 females and 228 males.
