Of the 8,581 people living in Kalifornsky CDP in 2019, 47.8 percent (4,103) were women and 52.2 percent (4,478) were men, according to U.S. Census Bureau data obtained by the SC Alaska News.

Males 18 and over outnumbered females in the same age group by a ratio of 2,885-to-2,517. In the 65 and over age range, there were 527 females and 384 males.
