Graduates earn 8 degrees from Alaska Christian College

About 50 percent of the 8 degrees and certificates handed out by Alaska Christian College in 2017-18 were to students in theology and religious vocations programs, making them the most popular programs that year, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

The agency's National Center for Education Statistics shows the private not-for-profit institution in Soldotna conferred 4 associate's degrees in theology and religious vocations programs.

But the single most popular program was for a associate's degree in pre-theology/pre-ministerial studies. Data shows the school gave out 4 associate's degrees in pre-theology/pre-ministerial studies, followed by 3 associate's degrees in teacher assistant/aide and 1 associate's degrees in behavioral aspects of health.

The college enrolled 81 students for 2017-18, all of whom were enrolled in undergraduate programs.
